East Cambridgeshire's community hire facility for arts equipment (purchased with support from the Arts Council of England and the National Lottery, with partnership funding from East Cambridgeshire District Council).

Whether you’re putting on an all singing and dancing big stage production, an exhibition, presentation, sports day or a karaoke night you can you can take advantage of the huge range of equipment available through the ADeC equipment bank. Available to venues, schools, colleges, theatre and drama groups, music societies, and community groups we offer significant reductions compared to commercial hire rates, (between 40% and 60% savings, with ADeC Group Friends you can also benefit from an additional 10% reduction).

Whether you need staging, lighting or flooring, all the equipment is completely up to date and fully compatible with the Network of Venues in East Cambridgeshire. If you need technical back-up before or during your production you can hire out our Equipment Bank Technician Paul Hunt. He can deliver the equipment, set it up, or be on hand during the production to make sure everything goes smoothly.

The Bank contains equipment for all your arts needs. There's stage lighting and sound equipment, backstage communications, DJ mixing decks, display screens and cabinets with integral lights, lit music stands, stage rostra and dance flooring. All the equipment is listed in our price list.

You do need to order any equipment at least two weeks before the collection date. We can occasionally deal with last minute bookings, but in order to guarantee you can hire the equipment you need, do book earlier. If you know when your event is, you can order ahead (even if it's 2008!). Longer hire rates are available, just ask.
