ADeC is the art development agency for East Cambridgeshire. Our role is to support the arts in all its forms for the benefit of local people.
One of the ways we do this is by providing a range of support to amateur, community and professional groups, individuals and visiting promoters, to encourage and maintain a vibrant and exciting range of arts activities.
Planning/Events Management

Finance
ADeC offers financial support through our Grants & Guarantee against loss scheme. We can also help you identify other sources of funding and provide assistance with applications if needed. See our funding page for more information.
Finding the right artist
If you need help in finding a local artist for your community or school project we have a bank of local professional artists who specialise in visual & arts, textile & crafts, music & dance, film & new technologies, literature and performing arts. Publicity/Marketing
We can list any arts events taking place in East Cambridgeshire FREE in our monthly What’s On Guide (4,000 copies are distributed in East Cambs and beyond) and on this website. You can submit your event online or by post.
We also offer ‘paid for’ services such as direct mail, advertising within the guide and poster distribution. Visit our marketing page for more information.
Equipment
ADeC runs an equipment bank with a full range of portable equipment including staging, lighting, sound and communications equipment, dance floor and DJ kits. Visit the equipment bank page in this section for more information.
Box Office
Box office services are more than just about selling tickets, we offer a part or complete box office service, available to anyone staging an arts event in East Cambridgeshire. Visit the events management page for more information.
Documents
Three local groups have recently benefitted from grant awards from ADeC (Arts Development in East Cambridgeshire). The grants, available to groups in East Cambridgeshire, can be used for a range of purposes from small items of art equipment to employing professional artists to run workshops.
